I'm delighted to say that while we still mow the lawn, that's about as far as it goes. No watering, no fertilizer. The mower's electric; no spilled gasoline.
Actually, the gist of the article isn't so much to suggest a complete departure from mowing, but rather refraining from accepting the mass consumption of trinket-driven capitalism, and stop wasting resources on a patch of grass.
Those of you who manicure your lawns with tweezers, please consider getting help.
