As promised, the renovation of the New Albany Tribune now includes a fairly dramatic News-Tribune web site update. Here's the announcement:

Thank you for visiting the www.News-Tribune.net site today! You will notice we've done some remodeling in order to better serve the needs of our readers and advertisers. We hope you like it but please excuse some "mess" while we continue to make improvements. This site will not contain everything you see in your community newspaper. However, it will feature the local highlights as well as some original content.
Some of the new highlights include:
‹ More headlines from various sections near the top of the page so there's less scrolling.
‹ More content broken down in more specific categories.
‹ Cleaner design allowing for easier navigation.
‹ Areas for feedback on every story so readers can add their comments for others to see.

‹ Web polling to register your opinion on news.
‹ Community calendars.
‹ An expanded photo gallery with extra images from area events.
