New England 2017: Popham Beach State Park.

As is my usual custom, I'll be posting photos, commentary and links about our trip; the daily accounts will be back-dated to coincide with their occurrence. It won't be the most thrilling reading, but in addition to whatever else NAC may or may not have become over the years, it's still a personal blog, and you're fully entitled to views of our holiday.

We arrived at online/doc/parksearch/details.pl?park_id=22" style="font-weight: bold;">Popham Beach State Park in early evening, just as the sun was about to set.

It was stunning.

I'll make no effort to explain or categorize these photos. Some are better than others, and I can only imagine what a professional might have been able to achieve with perfectly blue skies and the fiery red-orange light fading on the horizon.

It was almost dark when we returned to the car. The end to an exhausting day came at Sebago Brewing Company in Gorham, where steak and ale never tasted better.
