Food and dining notes: Primo's, Muscle Monkey and Bread and Breakfast.

I don't think I've mentioned that Primo's Delicatessen is open at the former Patticakes and Pies on Main Street, a couple doors down from Bread and Breakfast (fast becoming an official bread supplier to Bank Street Brewhouse).

Meanwhile, at the former Updogs (and beloved longtime Little Chef) building on the corner of Market and Bank, Muscle Monkey Grill. This link seems specifically devoted to the New Albany locations; beware numerous unhelpful internet pages. Again, it's this: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Muscle-Monkey-Grill/686730481367822

(As an aside, Ian's "Pop-Up Italian" dinner at The Exchange last week scored a rave review at the Restaurants Forum.)

For many independent eateries, it's a slow time. The cold weather doesn't help. The three establishments leading off are just starting out. Avoid the familiar temptations of chainland, and check out the indies first.
