Recap: Indie Fest 2013.

A gospel trio opened the musical program in Lloyd's Landing, and later in the day, former councilman Steve Price's band also performed. As MC noted on Twitter: "With both gospel & Steve at Lloyd's Landing, you know what Lloyd was saying from above, don't you? 'Well, f*** me'".

NA First's Kate Caufield tended to the necessaries.

BSB's draft lines included guests from our Indiana friends, and six more Hoosier brews were dispensed at Dragon King Daughter's beer garden (and the main stage). It was a mellow vibe all day long, and the dual beer garden plan worked quite well.

It was an excellent second year event. NA First's organizers rocked it, and so did BSB's and DKD's staffs.

Note that Indie Fest is not designed as a fund-raiser for NA First; it hopes only to break even. If you're an indie (and not named CeeSaw), I trust you grasp the impact of this revelation, in that your support is needed as this organization grows.
