SIE Quarterly Meeting: Government 101

Our country's government is a hot topic across news stations and social media. Do you ever find yourself thinking wondering if you truly understand how our government works? Are you having trouble remembering some of the information from your high school civics classes? What exactly is an executive order?

Join Southern Indiana Equality on Monday, 2/20, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Culbertson West in New Albany, to learn more about what the government does, how it impacts you and your family, and what you can do to be an involved citizen.

This Quarterly Meeting of SIE is meant is going to be totally interactive as we explore these questions and start to ask more. Our panel is made up of government experts with a variety of viewpoints.

Al Knable - New Albany City Council
Dan Canon - attorney focusing on civil rights litigation, employment litigation, and appellate advocacy
John Smith - attorney focusing on injury and civil rights litigation
Brandon Smith - attorney focusing on injury and civil rights litigation

Please join us at Culbertson West, 904 E. Main Street in New Albany, to keep the conversation about our government going. This is a family friendly event! There will be adult beverages (for purchase) and light snacks available.

Hannegan Roseberry

Vice-President
