Coke machines and condoms: Let's all vend.
I've been thinking about putting a condom machine in front of my house, with the proceeds not going toward maintaining my slumlord property.
Nice sheet of plywood upstairs for the past three or so years. Was there a window before? Very high standards overall, and caffeine at all hours.
Okay, okay ... I don't own a slumlord property, but I've always been curious as to the standards for matters like this. If it's legal to have a Coke machine in front of my house, then I'm not joking about the condoms.

I'm hoping to trick them into saying that it isn't a house, it's a business.
I like the condom machine idea. Think of the community benefits - reduced rates of sexually transmitted disease, unwanted pregnancy (oops, can't trust women - wink) ... all said tongue in cheek. LOL
The coke machine (ghetto sugar delivery system) is at least some "economic development" on that street.
Might work, but you're going to have to sell fruit flavored blunts, too, to attract anybody. And then just give the condoms away.
I'm calling dibs on the lottery tickets, too.
Condoms machine. Would that be a part of the elastic economy?
Not sure that I would want as part of the barter economy.
I'll call mid 90's fighting arcade games, as I've got a few I can wheel out into our alley.
Not to spill over another argument, but I thought people had the right to do what they want to with their own property? If a woman is allowed to abort because it's her body, then allowing someone to let their property go to crap should also be allowed under that thinking. Remember, we don't have the right to tell people what to do with what belongs to them...
If a woman decides to keep a vending machine in her womb, it's fine by me.
Hell, it could be handy.

1. From the picture, it appears that part of the machine rests on the sidewalk.
2. If we follow Daniel S,'s logic when he says "If a woman is allowed to abort because it's her body, then allowing someone to let their property go to crap should also be allowed," then I guess no property law is valid.
Exactly, but it's not by my logic. It's the logic of the other side.
By that logic:
-Cocaine, crack and other drugs should be legalized--we shouldn't be telling people what to put in their body
- Anything occurring on private property should be tolerated
-nobody should pay taxes, because that's my money, not the government's.
- Basically there should be no laws that govern what I do because after all, I know me, big brother doesn't know me, and if you think you can tell me what's right, it's because you're sexist!

That's basically all I've heard.
Oh I forgot, we need to fire all the teachers too cos no teacher knows my mind like me, so they have no business telling me what to learn.
The particular post on question had only to do with “late” abortions.
For example, if a particular delivery can pose risk of near certain death to the mother, choosing to save the life of the mother is much different than saying “it’s my body I’ll do with it as I please.”
Maybe that could be a new pro-choice bumper sticker
