A new claim to fame: Indiana's largest chicken, right here in NA.

Alert reader Knighttrain recently pointed to the existence of a chicken in front of the South Side restaurant.


Here's a close-up of the fowl.


I don't know about you, but this makes me, uh, hungry?

Make that Indiana's two largest chickens. I saw one out in front of the Marathon station on the corner of Spring and Silver yesterday evening.

I passed by the Southside last night with out-of-town guests, planning to show them the chicken, but alas, it apparently had roosted for the night.
