No NABC CheAnd from the People's Republic of the Highlands, no less. The tedium is growing.
As a beer lover, I’ve been meaning to visit New Albanian Brewing Co. in New Albany. Then I read in LEO that owner Roger Baylor has a Che Guevara wallet (April 21 Mug Shots). Thanks for saving me a trip, Roger. I wouldn’t want my dollars to end up in a leather homage to a sadistic, enslaving murderer.
I’m also confident Che would not approve of the high prices Roger charges for his simple water and grains product, but he’d probably dig the wallet. Then he’d take it … at gunpoint.

Yawns from the Publican and Ernesto.
LEO reader Steve will be happy to know that I paid an inflated price for my Che wallet ... in Europe.

Do you think Baron would appreciate the juxtaposition of these pictures?
That's hilarious. Too bad that Steve didn't make it over. He would have "loved" your brew tanks.
I'm horrified by the photo, too--get an Apple, boy!
wow...words are falling out of my head but none of them would be fit to put here...i need a beer...
Once again symbols trump substance, at least for a small minority who I suspect already had an agenda.
I guess the print on Roger's wallet is more important than the inconvenient fact that Roger is a capitalist who invests his own money in a private business enterprise.
By that wallet-picture-trumps-substance logic, I should feel comfortable letting a convicted mass murderer babysit my children, just as long as he has a picture of Mr. Rogers on his wallet.
Think globally... a Che wallet, made in China, bought by an American while in Europe. At least the insane profit was a split between the shop owner and the government and didn't end up going to the Che-Pac.
It might be time to invest in some Mandy Patinkin CD's for the listening pleasure of people in your establishment. The King of Pop, the REAL King of Pop, has his music reserved for Italian restaurants...
I'll probably be in the doghouse but there is more Warren Buffet than Che Guevara.
Mark, you're already in the doghouse because of the hat.
Wait, there's a Che-PAC?
Which multinational corporation owns the intellectual property rights to the iconic Che image?
None, as it should be.
Wow, I should wear my Che Swatch watch from the 1980s, aren't symbols fun when they provoke amusement?
Outlawing Che's image on anything may end up on the agenda for the next NA Council meeting now..
Why is there not a "Che" beer at NABC?
My favorite Che image is from The Onion:

A che wearing che t-shirt. Someday I'll buy one for the boss.
No one complained when the Rutles played Che Stadium!
