National League of Cities in opposition to Bush budget

"Balking against Bush" always is in season at NA Confidential, and apparently in agreement with our default setting is the National League of Cities.

I dunno, Ed... this may end up like it was in 1973 thru '76: you couldn't find anyone who actually voted for Nixon.

Dubya and his band of thieves scare hell out of me. Emerson, what will it be like in the non rich world by the end of his 8 year tenure? Will there be any social programs left as we used to know them?
PS..Glad to see NA Conf. back on the job, sort of.

Keeping the population scared and stupid seems to be the formula for Republican domination. The blind acceptance of Orwellian doublespeak "war is peace" is a perfect example as is spreading democracy at gunpoint. Keep in mind folks the Dark Ages lasted 400 yrs...we only have three left in Dubya's tenure.
