REWIND: Steve Price compares himself to Jesus Christ. A captive city yawns. Somewhere, a dog barks (2007).

Tomorrow, the 3rd district will celebrate the end of an error. Greg Phipps will be elected to represent the Democratic Party in November, and Steve Price finally will be set free, able at long last to perform nightly karaoke at the Luddite Bar & Grill, including his biggest hits: "Them Preservation Nazis" and "Three to a Couch or Pay Extra".

By the end of 2011, NAC will have documented seven of Price's eight wasted years in elected office. We'll save the real party for December 31, and until then, enjoy a random selection from the archives.

Steve Price compares himself to Jesus Christ. A captive city yawns. Somewhere, a dog barks.

... Because the answer to New Albany’s dilemma simply does not lie in Steve Price’s preferred state of degradation, deprivation and yokeldom, although there’s some solace to be derived from the fact that as he warbles and croons the “we can’t” defeatist line, plenty of people aren’t buying it. They both “can,” and “are,” and there's little that he's yet been able to do about it.
