"The Whipping Man" comes highly recommended.

While in Cincinnati last Friday evening, we attended The Ensemble Theater of Cincinnati's production of "The Whipping Man," and it was amazing. The play is an end-of-Civil War story with significant historical and cultural twists, and if you have a chance to witness a performance, I recommend you seek it out. We spent two hours watching the play and two more discussing it.
