If you see 1st district councilman Dan Coffey, would you please tell him that my Tribune column this coming Thursday will be all about him?
And you might tell Jeff Gahan, too. After all, he's an accessory.

New Albany is a state of mind … but whose? Since 2004, we’ve been observing the contemporary scene in this slowly awakening old river town. If it’s true that a pre-digital stopped clock is right twice a day, when will New Albany learn to tell time?

Easy on the reins, big guy.
I cant imagine Bob Woodward announcing in advance that he was targeting a subject for a column in the Washington Post.
I'd just hate to see your intelligent and refreshingly candid work tainted by a seemingly vindictive bias.
Just my two cents.
There's no guarantee the column will be accepted. I'll leave that to higher intelligence than mine. What I know is this: Last Thursday represented a nadir of the political process in this city. It's time to stand up to the bullies and the ones empowering them and say enough. A sitting councilman has targeted a friend, and I'm targeting the councilman.
Let's see who blinks first.
might I suggest a boxing match at the new albany ampitheatre, might help revitalize downtown new albany
tell you what Roger you take coffey and I will take Gahan, we could be a double bill
Nah, that's not my style.
Let the Wizard respond in kind, with words, not physical violence.
ok how about a debate, I know I can kick Gahans ass in a battel of words
Now, now ... but that's a better idea, I think.
we know coffey is not the worlds brightest and Gahan loses his cool when he gets mad and his face gets all red and he loses his ability to put any coherent sentences together, should be a cake walk
only thing gahan knows how to do is initiate frivolous lawsuits and he doesnt even do that well he needs his sidekick to ill advise him. Oh I forgot he once sold decent fraser fir christmas trees, wish now I never would have bought one off him
