Lloyd covers last evening’s city council meeting here:

Honest … It's True!

This night’s Common Council meeting was so calm as to be scary for one who has a history of attendance. There was very little obstructionist debate and no wailing & gnashing of teeth at all!

Must be election time.

Speaking of elections, council meetings and countdowns, 3rd district candidate Maury Goldberg noted yesterday that as of Day 58 of the Steve Price blogwatch (today is #59, and Goldberg’s opponent’s wife hasn’t posted on behalf of hubby incumbent since March 6), Price hasn’t yet answered Maury's question:

Hmmmm.

13 days and counting.

On April 20th, 2007 the post I wrote titled: "$2,300,000 to get renominated" asked if you could explain your vote, to date you have not responded. I knew you would not, but at the debate you said you watch the "nickels and dimes" in a budget. So how do you explain your vote? Oh yes, how can you take credit anything positive about the Sanitation issue? I love to hear an explanation. I hope you get permission to explain your vote.

New Albany Council vs Clarksville Council Tonight!

… passed first reading of the zoning ordinance for Graceland to build ball fields. However CM Coffey had to make sure all the lights are off and the children will be away from the roads, quiet and tucked into their beds by 10:00 p.m. Does anyone know how that race is going? Could he be running behind?
