I'm outta there.

Well, there'll be no notes, either, because I was ejected.

So far the only new info is the mayor has a nice garbage can because he takes care of it.

They seemed to have skipped over comm. For non agenda items

Was that a record ejection timewise?

11 minutes was the official time

The speaker at the podium, in a wide-ranging critique of responsible government, accused The New Albanian of shady dealing with the city. Howdy Doody jumped in Roger's grill when RAB dared to object (very quietly). When Lil Stevie broke protocol and singled Roger out, the fireworks began as Roger forcefully objected to whom was being called down. Dandy Dan gave him the immediate hook, presumably for "yelling."

The council president was heard to ask counsel whether "contempt of Dan" was a jailable offense.

Oh yeah, the first speaker was Valla Ann's old girlfriend.

My question is how often is non agenda comments moved to the end?

Always, Matt. It's the council's defense against both reason and unreason. Last night's fiasco, which featured Mr. Berryman's garbage soup comments, was elevated by Mr. Coffey to "agenda" item.

Why? Because Mr. Coffey sent Mr. Berryman to the podium in the first place. The Republican candidate (Berryman) and the Democratic (?) council president are veerry close.

Matt, it's part of the game. If you can wait them out, they have to listen to you. But you have to wait them out. Non-agenda items move to the final moments. Can't say I disagree with the idea, but I am sorry the rules were bent last night, allowing everyone except you to vault to the head of the line.

If Doug England wants to install bike lanes...no one can stop him. Talking to the council about progressive ideas is just bating the bears. It may make you feel good, but it accomplishes nothing. If you're not elected, they might fear you, but they won't listen to you.

Remember, a majority of them are proudly violating the Constitution and state statute, and are vigorously proud of their stance. That alone makes them unfit to even be candidates. They've violated their oaths of office and can be removed in a jiffy (and declared permanently ineligible to ever serve again) if someone merely files a claim with the state court.

The prosecutor must, within 20 days, present the case. The facts are clear. And five of them are GONE.

Who has the cojones?

I did not realize but there was a camera in the assembly room and it caught the whole ugly episode on tape.

Some might call that a case of premature ejection.

Seriously though, I wondered if it was a fashion violation for wearing your 1980's era Kurt Rambis short shorts...
