A New Year’s Eve in New Albany … it was a treat.

We wish to thank Chef Dave and the crew at Bistro New Albany for a wonderful meal; Israel, Lidia and her visiting relatives at the La Rosita’s late night bash for making us feel like family; and Mr. & Mrs. Bluegill for the nightcap.

Diet? What diet? It may have been back to carrots and granola today, but worth it knowing that a fine time can still be had in the old town.

Cheers for 2007. It is going to be a good year.

The entree, beverages, desert,& company of good friends which was excellent at the Bistro followed by the gracious hospitality of Mr. & Mrs. Bluegill made for the most enjoyable New Years Eve I've had in a decade! Thanks to all for inviting me as well as to Chef Clancey & company!

For the record: The Highwayman wasn;t as chipper when encountered earlier today.

Something about Scottish culture ...

Same here all round. The great crew at the Bistro earned four new customers at our table for sure.

Thanks for dropping in afterwards. The Deus was an excellent finish to a bit too much of everything else.

I kind of dig the Highwayman with a brogue.
