BS Neighborhood Derby, Round 2: NA vs. Clifton.

At the conclusion of the first round of Broken Sidewalk's Neighborhood Derby, NAC regular B.W. Smith proposed "...a new post to fire people up - why vote New Albany over Clifton/Crescent Hill?"

His suggested answers are below:

- We brew better beer. Nuff said.

- You can go and do anything in your tshirt and jeans, including spend three figures on a fine-dining meal at the Windsor, and no one cares.

-It's a realistic possibility that an average joe could own a huge historic home...and for peanuts compared to the other guys.

-YYYY MMMM CCCC A!

-Loop Island Wetlands

-We're in a blue state

Farmers Market, Goat Cheese, a great place for a Runner (variety of scenery - greenway, historic neighborhoods and downtown), Kaiser Tobacco! I voted.

Outsiders claim to be citizens of New Albany when they are not!!

The competition is nothing to sneeze at, so I was trying to focus on thing that distinguish NA. Thought of some more:

- Tim Dorsey visited our independent bookstore (which is bigger than theirs).

- A Carnegie library-museum they have not.

- Zesto's. Nuff said.

-We're a neighborhood full of neighborhoods. They're a neighborhood in LOUMETROGVT.

"You are never expected to rise above where you are right now!"

For clarification, I am a non-citizen of the city of New Albany.

That's really shitty, Daniel. For clarification, I mean really shitty.

Hey, it was a little joke Jeff. I have heard plenty on here written in the same attitude. I could have written "New Albany, it aint Portland" but I didn't. All jokes aside, my best is "New Albany, Land of Opportunity." There is so much potential in this berg, I hope something spectacular comes of it.

Surely you don't mean entrepreneurialism. I thought that was dead. ;-}
