Now it makes more sense: Night Out New Albany, explained.

It seems that NONA is a project being advanced by the Regalo shop, perhaps meant to supplant the ill-fated Saturday afternoon trolleys.

Here's the lowdown, as forwarded to me by Stefanie Griffith. Since I knew nothing about it until now, I can't say for sure whether Bank Street Brewhouse is participating.

I'm finally beginning to understand Dan Coffey's lament about missing information ...

Night Out New Albany is a night for local retailers, restaurants, galleries and shops to showcase their business. Night Out New Albany is a night for local customers as well as tourists to enjoy an evening of art, entertainment, food, drink and shopping.
This event will be held on the 2nd Friday of the month from 5-8 p.m. (with the exception of October).

The dates for Night Out New Albany are as follows:

May 9
June 13
July 11
August 8
September 12
October 17
November 14

Your business can choose to offer/showcase something unique each month. (Ex: artist, photographer, hands-on-craft, store special)

If your business would like to participate, please email us at wordup@regaloart.com by April 7. We will be distributing a brochure for this event and will include your business. Please commit to all 7 months.

Our plan is to enlist in sponsorships to fund transportation, such as a Trolley and additional advertisement for future dates.

Thank you and we look forward to you involvement in making New Albany a great place to be!

It makes more sense for the retail shops than dining establishments. Like you said, busy on Friday night anyway but the promo shouldn't hurt you either.

I attended the 1st meeting concerning this and at that time it was being considered to coinside with the Summer Concert Series.
