We forgot to celebrate NA Confidential's 14,000th post.

Published post #14,000 at NA Confidential came last week on Tuesday, June 25. I was so busy gearing up to skip town that it slipped my mind.

Here it is -- and it couldn't have been devoted to a more worthy political operative.

Engorged with boilerplate, the AdamBot whines: My power would come to a "screeching halt" without TIF.

Just remember: a vote against Jeff Gahan is like pushing over the first domino.

A modest achievement: NAC's 10,000th post.

#00001

Prior to departing for Estonia, I stocked the blog queue with material in order to keep things moving in my absence, and Jeff Gillenwater posted them to Facebook. As always, thanks to Jeff for subbing.

I knew #10,000 was coming, but didn't try to make it "special" in any way. Consequently, let the record show that NAC's 10,000th post in a series that began in 2004 was this, as published on April 27, 2016:

"How East Germany influenced design."

Not bad. Not bad at all. Thanks to my readers, especially the ones who won't admit it. Verily, you keep me hanging on.

A milestone.

Roughly at 9:56 p.m., we went over the 200,000 visitor mark since October, 2004.

Wow. I'm humbled. While it pales numerically in comparison to Erika's many pre-election letters, thanks very much for reading. The fact that I just returned from a killer beer dinner is not contributing to the euphoria.

Really.
