Grassroots movement afoot? "Meeting to Discuss Future of Public Housing."

I've borrowed this image from a post at New Albany Indiana (Facebook). Reading between the lines, it seems to be directed at public housing residents, which is fitting and proper. Are others welcome? If you have any further information, please let us know.

Beer ecumenism at Art on the Parish Green.

It is likely that Art on the Parish Green is the only event you'll see in 2012 with sponsors including NABC, Rep. Ed Clere and Develop New Albany. You see, ecumenical thinking in the context of beer drinking is alive and well even when we disagree on every other point.

NABC has provided beer for Art on the Parish Green since its inception, as coordinated and usually vended by one of our longtime Grant Line employees, Tabbatha Elble. Good luck and healthy sales to St. Paul's this weekend.

Art on the Parish Green is this weekend in New Albany; Festival features fine arts, crafts, music and food, by Daniel Suddeath (N and T)

NEW ALBANY — Crafts, art work and food as well as musical entertainment and local beer and wine are on tap this weekend for the annual Art on the Parish Green festival.

This marks the sixth year for the event, which will be Saturday and Sunday on the lawn of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, located at 1015 E. Main St. in downtown New Albany.

St. Paul's Art on the Parish Green (with NABC beer), this weekend, June 5 & 6.

Did you know that St. Paul's Episcopal Church, located just around the corner from the Publican's household, is the oldest Episcopalian congregation in Indiana? It dates back 175 years.

The coming weekend will be St. Paul's 4th annual Art on the Parish Green. The church's historic grounds are given over to a multitude of arts and crafts, with live music, food and beer from the New Albanian Brewing Company (tentative choices: Abzug, Community Dark and Elector). Don't forget the Sunday hours, enabling you to make Fest of Ale and Art on the Parish Green in one entertaining weekend. For complete information, hit the Internet:

Don't forget: Art on the Parish Green at St. Paul's this weekend.

I was reminded earlier today that Art on the Parish Green at St. Paul's Episcopal Church hadn't been mentioned in my most recent rumination on the many diversions this coming weekend.

Art on the Parish Green
St. Paul's 3rd annual Art on the Parish Green is a showcase of visual arts and fine crafts. Artisans from all over the area will be showing off excellent works of handmade arts and crafts. Activities during the weekend will include live Jazz, Bluegrass and some of the old time favorites throughout the weekend. Specialty food from Greek Gyros, real Buffalo entree's and Ice Cream; and a beer garden with New Albany's finest beer from The New Albanian Brewing Company, so please have ID handy!
Sorry about that! This weekend is packed with events, so keep it local and try to make room for as many as possible.
