Logging in and calling out the commissioners at NA Health.

The Healthblogger, who earlier this week identified himself as Dr. Daniel Eichenberger, is on a considerable roll over at NA Health.

Patient Satisfaction

Hospital Board

Lack of integrity with Commissioners

The topic?

His own (Dr. Eichenberger’s) recent removal from the Floyd Memorial Hospital Board, and a pointed charge that in voting him out of the position, “Two county commissioners placed politics and egos over their duty to the Hospital and the community.”

Heavy lifting, but it doesn’t stop there.

(Full disclosure) I've known Dr. Eichenberger for 25 years, and he's been my physician since 1998. Since his blog first came into existence, it has been my view that he has many valuable things to say when it comes to health care and the hospital, although at the same time, it simply isn’t possible for he and I to disagree more strongly on other issues (primarily politics and religion) about which he frequently writes.

It's a tough call, but right or wrong, I believe his viewpoints in the matter of the hospital board are deserving of a wider audience, and that’s why I’m providing these links to them.

Of course, there’s always another side to the story, and NA Confidential readers hope to hear it, too.
