Art on the Parish Green returns this weekend with its 13th iteration.

Sans byline, here's the newspaper's article about Art on the Parish Green, which takes place Friday and Saturday. If you travel via Market Street, be aware that the eastbound lane was closed on Friday morning to facilitate the festival's setup.

The question-and-answer with Fran Fach is quite good; it's just not clear who conducted it, newspaper or festival. From a personal standpoint, it's bittersweet to see the beer sponsorship pass from NABC to Donum Dei; nothing whatever against the latter, but I was always proud to help out Art on the Parish Green during my time at NABC.

The only constant is change, and the good news is that Art on the Parish Green has not only survived. It has thrived.

EASY BEING GREEN: Art on the Parish Green celebrates 13th year

The popular Art on the Parish Green festival celebrates its 13th year this weekend at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 11th and Main streets in downtown New Albany.

The event, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, features nearly 100 select fine arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, a beer/wine garden, live music, a YMCA Kids Art Place, and a Jazz Mass on the Grass Sunday at 10 a.m.

Below is a Q&A with festival coordinator Fran Fach about this year’s event ...
