New Albany is a state of mind … but whose? Since 2004, we’ve been observing the contemporary scene in this slowly awakening old river town. If it’s true that a pre-digital stopped clock is right twice a day, when will New Albany learn to tell time?

Zurschmiede Properties says Elevate got it WRONG; Lone Star Apartments has not been sold and only a Slate Run easement was taken over by the city.
As of 3:45 p.m. today, Zurschmiede Properties says there has been no sale of properties as reported earlier here. There WAS a transaction for an easement by Slate Run.
The Elevate site still lists the four adjacent properties as being owned by the city of New Albany, but according to Zurschmiede Properties, Elevate is quite simply mistaken.
I've found Elevate to be reliable, but for every rule an exception. Sorry for any inconvenience.
