New Albany Fresh Stop Market is having a Block Party on Saturday.
(press release)
---
Hello friends!
The New Albany Fresh Stop Market is fired up and ready to go – to the Block Party!
Let’s celebrate the start of a bountiful growing season at our exciting new location, Sojourn Community Church. This Saturday, May 20th, our dedicated volunteer leaders from New Albany invite you to join us for grilled vegetables, good music, crafts, face painting, hula hooping, and more. This event is free to the community, and you can even reserve your first share for our opening market on Thursday, June 15th. Shares can be ordered using credit/debit, SNAP, or cash, and we would love to answer any questions you may have about becoming a shareholder.
WHO: Everyone is welcome. We have music, food, and fun games and crafts for children.
WHAT: A celebration of good food, community, and the kick off of the 2017 growing season.
WHERE: Sojourn Community Church – 2023 Ekin Avenue, New Albany (on the corner of Ekin and Silver)
WHEN: Saturday, May 20th 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Thank you for being part of our movement to spread food justice in Kentuckiana and beyond. I can’t wait to see you there!
