The meme is my creation, and addresses one of the campaign's fundamental issues: Do we really need the Democratic party chairman running county government on the down low, too? I think not, but that's the lesser of reasons why Dennis has my vote.
He's also the most experienced and qualified candidate, hands down, and at a time when (a) the hospital sale has Floyd County government awash with cash for the first time in living memory, and (b) county government tends to be populated by (shall we say) artless sorts, it's critical to have a practiced hand in a position to chock the inevitable partisan deal-making.
