I'm so old I can remember when we had a green city flag and a steamboat on the seal. What I just cannot seem to recall is the date of the referendum when we changed them.
Wait, that's right: We didn't.
Why didn't they have a citywide competition? Whose idea was it anyway? Who designed it? Who picked it? How much did it cost? Inquiring minds want to know.
