No wonder Bob Caesar was in a rotten mood last night.

After all, his Republican Party was routed in the Shutdown Showdown, and for a closeted GOP Man, it's gotta be tough at times like that, right? All the Mogen David Blackberry on ice and onion dip ladled out for the celebration, and poof -- all gone.

Steve Stemler probably feels even worse.

The good news is that CeeSaw needn't rely on city council insurance for one moment longer, because the Health Insurance Marketplace is open.

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Residents of the District of Columbia were roused from their sleep by a massive fireworks display over the White House just after midnight, as President Obama declared what he called “a national day of gloating.”

“It would not be productive for this nation, going forward, to crow about our victory over political adversaries,” he said in a nationally televised address. “So let’s get it all out of our systems today.”

  1. Actually, he was probably out of sorts because, as a council member, he didn't get a raise in the new budget(none of them did). He's proven to be very self serving as a councilman.

    1. Literally millions to fix the road to HIS neighborhood.

    2. Doesn't want to even discuss 2 way traffic on HIS section of Pearl St.

    3. He has HIS city health insurance that costs thousands each year that no other part time employee of the city gets.(2 other council members are also taking this perk)

    4. And HIS famous line of "I'm not kidding" when it comes to any city work that may hinder HIS business.
