Maybe I'm still amazed that the A's are playing baseball on October 6.
Earlier this summer, I explained how I became a fan of the Oakland Athletics. Little did I suspect the season about to unfold. The Texas Rangers are out, the defending champion Cardinals back in, and today the A's play Detroit -- my favorite team vs. my father's.
