"Freedom Of Speech supports "NO" toll fees."That's heartening. There were some other odd remarks about heroic leadership from the pseudonymous author who doesn't tolerate reader comments, but why quibble over details during an historic moment? Perhaps we'll be marching together soon, icons of St. Hillary jangling around our necks, and Progressive Pints in our hands.
New Albany is a state of mind … but whose? Since 2004, we’ve been observing the contemporary scene in this slowly awakening old river town. If it’s true that a pre-digital stopped clock is right twice a day, when will New Albany learn to tell time?

Hooray! FOS comes out against bridge tolls!
I see that Freedom of Speech has joined NA Confidential in denouncing tolls on existing bridges as part of the Ohio River Bridges project boondoggle.
It's an interesting rant...has anyone from CFA attended the bridge meetings that you've gone to? Did they attend the "No Tolls" meeting a couple of weeks back?
ReplyDeleteNo, it's easier to sit behind a keyboard and bitch. Wait..that sounds familiar.
My favorite is that they stood in 4 inches of snow. Next, they'll be telling us how their sewer bill was only a nickle.
ReplyDeleteThey probably mean no tolls on the Silver Creek Bridges.
