Karen's "big damn guide" to downtown New Albany this weekend.

Here's an amazing compendium of downtown (and near downtown) New Albany restaurants, shops, establishments and attractions, as compiled by Karen Gillenwater for the use of visitors this crazy chock-full weekend.

First, a brief recap of events, and then Karen's list. E-mail me with additions and corrections, and I'll execute an update later this afternoon.

  3. That's a great restaurant list. I printed one for our office for out-of-town folks to use when they need lunch during deposition breaks.

  4. Whoa awesome list! Would I be overstepping if I reposted this entire thing on Louisville.com tomorrow? With a link here, of course?

Also, I don't see Thorpe Woodworks's Friday event on here.

  5. I added Steinert's and placed the Thorpe Woodworks event at the top because it is a special occurrence.

    Anything else?

  8. Thanks, all. Feel free to use the list as you would like. I work on making the art happen, but with the other stuff I can only take credit for typing it up, which is nothing compared to the efforts of all the business owners! I've maintained the list at the Carnegie Center for our visitors for a couple of years now - though it's grown a lot over that time and it's getting harder to keep up with! Thanks for the additions. I have Mariposa and Courtney's info to add in, along with Steinert's. (I'll share that info. with you too Roger.) Keep in mind that these are special hours for this weekend. If anyone wants the list with regular hours, email me.
