New Albany is a state of mind … but whose? Since 2004, we’ve been observing the contemporary scene in this slowly awakening old river town. If it’s true that a pre-digital stopped clock is right twice a day, when will New Albany learn to tell time?

"Music on the New Albany Riverfront tonight" and Historic Home Tour tomorrow.
The crowd tonight was a little on the disapopinting side, but then again, there was quite a few things going on downtown. The Harvest Homecoming thing on one side of bank street, and a PACKED HOUSE at the Bank Street Brew House. Waiting for Dave put on a pretty good show, and the opening band did a really good job at lashing out some Hendrix. I really hope this trend can continue to pick up momentum on the river front. As a Side note, I had contacted management companies for "B list bands", Drive By Truckers, Alexi Murdoch, Felice Brothers, Alejandro Escavedo, Jason Isbell and the 40 unit, and Yonder Mountain string band, thus far I have had several responses wanting know who to contact for booking information! These guys usually fill up the palace, and headliners every time they come around, so I thought, hey why not here?
I dont know the other two guys, But Terry and Dave are a couple of great guys, and I plan on being at the concert tonight to support them!
