Because I just read Jessica touting the magic moment of 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning as the long-awaited Toast on Market opening, I'm repeating it here.
That's Market Street in New Albany. The place we call the Fair Store Building. Tuesday morning.
Toast on Market sez: Open September 29.
SWEET!
ReplyDeleteSo, who's bringing me Gingerbread Pancakes this morning? Brewing Elector solo and can't make the opening.
ReplyDeleteSomeone get that boy some pancakes...brewing Elector is sacred work.
ReplyDeletewhere beer is brewed no evil is done
ReplyDeleteHope she's better at cooking pancakes than she is at returning phone calls.
ReplyDeleteDaniel S, I suspect she's too busy making pancakes to chat at the moment.
ReplyDeleteBeen calling for three months. Give me some bisquick and I can have your hotcakes in two minutes. No sweat to me either way.
ReplyDeleteShe was probably too busy making pancakes and talking to LEO.
ReplyDeleteI smell a breakfast and beer pairing event. And it smells good.
ReplyDeleteHa, good one hoosier. I just hope they brought our first two toast articles for direction.
ReplyDeleteDanielS, what research is the Trib doing on the budget issue? Any contact with Indianapolis?
ReplyDeleteBeen in meetings all this morning and was off Friday and Monday, so haven't had much of a chance to check with them. The sewer loan was never repaid to the general fund and the property tax caps made up basically the rest, not much to really uncover. Did a story on the sewer bit about this time last year. Basically the city's extra cash flow can't be touched without state approval, they hold on the strings.

ReplyDeleteIs that official line from State?

ReplyDeleteDanielS, you quoted Coffey as stating:
ReplyDeleteSome of the people who have left this administration told me if we don’t get their spending under control we could be in trouble.
If two or more people have left the administration complaining about out of control spending, that's a story. If they haven't, that's a story.
I'm eager to read the Tribune's follow-ups.
I didn't quote coffey as saying that. That was Chris's story, I was off. Not to mention to get somebody to go on record saying that would be pretty hard.
