From Dick Kaukas (C-J): Carnegie Center hires first curator.
Karen Gillenwater, who has worked in art museums since 1998 and is a graduate of Floyd Central High School in Floyds Knobs, has been named the first curator of The Carnegie Center for Art and History.
yay! Good for you karen!
ReplyDeleteAll right!!! Finally something controversial to raise hell about.
ReplyDeleteJust how did Ms Grillenwater get this job? Who got the bribes? More importantly, who provided the bribes? Was is it Weber? He was out charbroiling brats the other day with Kingsford. I bet that is the connection or her husband is just full of propane and managed to light a fire under someone.
What, her name is GILLENWATER, not GRILL...? Like a fish?
Never mind.
In memory of,
"Roseanne Roseannadanna"
Although me and mine have never visited the "museum" we are avid supporters of stuff like this. Will Ms. Gillenwater look into the wine, special beer, and cheese fiasco? And where does that money goes? We should call Charlie at the State Board of Accounts and demand an audit immediately.
ReplyDeletePeace NA
PS: Seriously, congratulations. I hope that the museum continues to grow and build on its solid reputation. I appreciate the institution and all of the people involved in educating this community, it's definitely needed.
That's Charlie Praahhhd, mister.
ReplyDeleteLOL.
That's it! I'm changing my name back to my maiden name...or maybe I should just add an r.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, thanks to you all for your support and I hope to see you at the "museum" soon!
This is just great news and a magnificent choice!
ReplyDeleteWe do have some pretty great neighbors here and I'm glad to be welcomed among them!
ReplyDeleteI have a nice vantage point from which to view the progress on the new NABC location and I'm happy to report that the painting is moving along nicely.
