New Albany is a state of mind … but whose? Since 2004, we’ve been observing the contemporary scene in this slowly awakening old river town. If it’s true that a pre-digital stopped clock is right twice a day, when will New Albany learn to tell time?

This one says it all: "Standing up" for slumlords.
It's a boarded up, decrepit outpost of the (former or current?) Gregory slumlord empire, proudly indicating support for the chief enabler of non-enforcement in New Albany.
We're confused. Exactly what kind of "vision" is this?
it is a vison of "if it aint broke, dont fix it!" The current system works wonders for those who would profit from the degradation of our community. By the way, seen any good beer stories in the paper recently? I saw one, and a person in the story looked pretty familiar.
how many other stories will it take for the leadership of New Albany to wake-up and realize that there's a problem with the current land-lord setup.
i found the story of the 3 children living inside a "dump" with rat and flee infestation horrible. if memory serves me right, isn't this how the plague was started?
here's a little story that hasn't made headlines: in the uptown area, there is a scam where the parent/s send their child out to supposedly raising money for Silver Street Elementary. one time the mother was actually with the child, who was selling flower seeds, etc. last week, the child was raising money for "jump rope for heart." i called the school to find out that there are no fundraising currently being done at the school.
so how sad is it that we have parents sending their child out at 8pm to bum money?
the house is a mess from the outside. i'm not private eye, nor do i know what the inside of this place looks like. however, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the situation inside is probably not good.
so leadership of new albany, continue to coddle your slumlords. voters are taking notice and will be voting you out.
We had to remove a sign placed on an absentee problem rental in our area that "someone" else put there; at this juncture I guess it would be for some type of picture purposes to get someone into office.
Another person's signs are disappearing and appearing in strange places; we all know the games played.
Thank you again, though, for taking a pic of my yard showing Price's sign. There will be more interesting ones showing up soon, I'm sure. Load the camera.

I actually saw a Price sign in district 4 right beside a district 4 candidate sign. I guess he is a crossover candidate.

Correcto, please -- "out of office, and to disperse false illusions." Thank you.
