... when I saw the Siamese Councilmen conferring by the Main Street entrance to the elder half's itinerant antique store. The last time I was that frightened, Sammy Terry was screening "The Amazing Colossal Man."
So, the thieving poltroons at INSIGHT "gee, we didn't realize that pulling out that brick would make the whole building fall down" BROADBUNGLE conspired to keep me off line the entire day (and two and a half out of the last seven at the business portal).
Can't wait for those credits against my next cable bill.
Here's the story. Take it with a grain or two of salt.
More later -- after I've had a calming libation.
"Insight Broadband"---yet another 21st century addition to the dictionary. The consumate definition of the word FRUSTRATION!
ReplyDeleteAs much as I dislike the "big guys", we switched to SBC/AT&T for DSL and satellite over a year ago and have had no problems. Since we are so close to an SBC hub on Spring Street, the DSL service is really fast in this part of town.
ReplyDeleteI see where SBC/ATT is now going to offer hi speed access via satellite for RURAL areas not covered by DSL. Gee, I would not consider my house in NA to be rural. Can you tell that I am not a big fan of the "new" ATT? Or the "old" SBC for that matter.
ReplyDeletewill research going wireless for the downtown...is anyone already working on this? I will if no one is. Might be an option to the standard cable/dsl telcos and it would boost our town identity to be universally wifi.
