As provided by the Courier-Journal:
SMOKING BAN AT A GLANCE
Forbids smoking in buses, taxicabs, retail stores, public places, restaurants, bowling centers and places of employment.
Allows it in outdoor spaces, private residences, retail tobacco stores, private clubs, businesses with no more than four employees and up to 20 percent of the rooms in a motel or hotel.
Imposes a $50 fine on violators, including smokers, business owners and managers.
Takes effect 180 days after being published in a local newspaper.
