BEER WITH A SOCIALIST: Here's a brewery job opening, very scenic, though a bit of a commute.

You are invited to consider Svalbard, a Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean.

The Svalbard Bryggeri (brewery) has posted a job listing. I can't make out exactly what the work involves, but you need to speak English to do it.

Haven't heard of them?

One of these "polar" beers is an India Pale Ale.

With a local population of only 2,667, I'm guessing the brewery's production is primarily exported. Thanks to Kim Andersen for the link. It's the perfect illustration of the serendipitous fascination I hold for the meeting places of beer and geography.
