Pass the vodka: Question-free water park as economic development.


If New Albany's water slide is intended in the same vein as the Roman Empire's bread and circuses (it is), and if Clarksville's version of the same is set for closure this summer (it is), then isn't New Albany facing its own catastrophic refugee crisis, with hordes of impoverished easterners coming across our borders and parking their jalopies on taxpayer lawns the length of Daisy Lane?

These are hard questions, so don't look here.

It's great that the reporter made sure to ask whether water park benefits were jibing with costs, and asked for the numbers to prove ... what?
