New Albany's new slogan: "Truck Through City" ... Part 55: Let's listen to the explanation of a truck driver.

N: "How else were the trucks supposed to get through town when Main St was closed?"

Roger: "You and I do not disagree. I disagree with the city's obvious diversion, and refusal to be as honest about it as you have. Will (the trucks) return to Main Street once it is entirely reopened?"

N: "Tractor trailers probably wont. We like to stay 5' from parked cars. The left turn from Vincennes onto Spring is too tight as is the right turn onto Main. Spring needs to be a 2 way street because it directly accesses the interstate."

N: "Nick Altvater Many trucks from Clarksville come through NA due to the Kennedy bridge being backed up. Fast Track is a good example."

N: "I live near Main and never knew about the (Main Street) project. The city put the same stupid curbs down near E 18th st but took them away when someone realized they'd get constantly run over by trucks."

Thanks to N for the conversation.

Is it true the city's taking bids for naming rights? Roadway Street?
