Tonight: Council demolitions, health department follies.

The agenda is light, and so what a fine summer's night to grace the council chambers with an account of the Floyd County Health Department's summer offensive of 2013. President McLaughlin suggested I do so, and this seems like a good opportunity. Maybe I can construct a nice, snazzy PowerPoint presentation.

Meanwhile, council undoubtedly will approve demolition funds, as detailed in the newspaper:

Council to vote on demolition funds tonight ... Brewer: About 18 properties need to be addressed, by Daniel Suddeath (N and T)

The New Albany City Council is slated to vote on a $150,000 appropriation tonight that would be used for building demolitions.
